You are able to cancel the placement request in this way if either your system is not integrated with Capacity Management or the Destination Facility is not in your health system.
Steps
Navigate to the Outcome Tab to display the Bed Request Details and Bed Assignment Details.
Remove either:
The Assignment Time
The Cases List will now display the Bed Requested in the case row.
The Assignment Time and Request Time
The Cases List will display No Bed Requested in the case row.
