About

After you have set up your filters and parameters to meet the need of a specific report consumer, you may save this combination of filters and parameters as a preset called a Custom View.

Steps

  1. After updating filters and target values, click on the view button on the top middle.

  2. Give your view a name and save it. Ideally, names should be descriptive enough so that you do not need to review the filters in the hidden menu to know what is included.

  3. Select the following check boxes as desired:

    1. Checking the ‘Make it my default’ option when saving will cause the view to become your default view and load it automatically any time you open the specific workbook.

    2. Checking the ‘Make it visible to others’ option when saving will make the view appear under the ‘Other views’ section in the custom view section.

  4. Click Save.
