About
Your organization may have goals that differ from the default goals in our standard content. We will describe how to input your own goals as Parameters/placeholders.
Steps
To access parameter controls:
Click the hidden filter icon in the top left section of the dashboard.
or
Click the Show Target Values button at the top of the screen.
The parameter controls window will appear with options for goal setting.
To update a given goal, simply open click on the number listed in the box, type a new value, and hit Enter/Return on your keyboard (or click away from the box) to update the icon an banner color based on that new goal. Depending on the type of visualization used, the numeric value of the new goal may appear on the sheet, or the new goal may appear as a green line.
If the overall average is less than the stated goal, it will display a thumbs up icon.
If the overall average exceeds the goal, but is within 10% of meeting this goal, it will display a yellow triangle icon.
If the overall average greatly exceeds the goal (More than 10% off), it will display a red circle icon.
Close Parameter Window
To close the parameter window if it was accessed by clicking Show Target Values, click the Hide Target Values button.
