Delay Job
Delay Jobs are used to track the status of EVS jobs on dirty beds, especially when they are placed in a delayed status. This feature is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient bed management.
Where you can find this feature: Delayed Beds History Report.
How Delay Jobs Work
Functionality
- Delay Jobs are recorded in the system when an EVS job is started on a dirty bed and placed in delayed status.
- Delayed jobs can be resumed.
- The Delayed Beds History Report displays a list of Delayed Beds in a selected date range.
- If information for a delayed job that has been resumed does not appear on the Delayed Beds History Report, ensure that the report was generated with a start date corresponding to when the bed was first marked as dirty. - If the bed has been in a dirty state for one or more days, the report date range must include the initial dirty status date.
- Failure to set the correct date range will result in the delay job not appearing on the report.
